Founded in 2005 by Northland brothers Craig and John Zielinski Silviculture Contractors Ltd is now a leading silviculture management team, delivering quality results across the forestry industry throughout the North Island.
Both Craig and John started their careers in their teens within forestry, learning and developing on the ground alongside local forestry crews.
Establishing the business with a small team of 3 they worked with a focused mission...

This accreditation doesn't come lightly - as one of just two Northland Siliviculture businesses that are SafeTree certified we are focused on continuing to exceed New Zealand forestry safety standards.
Our team continue to improve processes and procedures, with regular Safetree guidance and audits on employment standards, health & safety and employee management, we work hard and are proud to hold this certification.
IT'S IN OUR BLOOD
Not only did Craig and John launch their careers within forestry - they actually grew up with their role models working within the industry too.
Both their father and grandfather worked within forests in Northland - and although much has changed for the better, one thing has carried through - an ingrained passion for the industry, you could say forestry is in their blood!
